Hailing from the Backwoods of Northeast Louisiana, a tender young Catfish began life in the rural south, before moving to the concrete jungle ofn Dallas, Tx. After escaping a life of gang activity, swear words and D3 to busch league baseball, a high school diploma less Catfish entered the workforce. Quickly, he became a highly skilled and certified journeyman across the automobile, hospitality, telecommunication and public sectors. Once, obtaining the illustrious honor of becoming fork lift certified. Esteem. 

Undaunted and ever dashing in his pursuit of pirate treasure, the clever Catfish enrolled at Eastfield Community College during the spring of 2019 to pursue a degree in history. COVID and college convinced a creative Catfish to courageous commit to apprentice under Donnie Deville in Fort Worth. Simultaneously, graduating from college with a Bachelors in History and finishing his apprenticeship in May of 2021, Catfish thought 8th grade U.S. history and tattooed in Fort Worth from 2021 until the summer of 2022. After spending most of 2022 traveling around the country learning from incredible artists with decades of experience, Catfish returned to Dallas and continued to refine his craft. 

Currently, Catfish continues to travel around the country learning about tattooing and tattoo history while going to graduate school at Sam Houston State. Catfish is tattooing full time in College Station and is always available for walk ins. He specializes in Bright Bold American Traditional tattoos. He has also been taught fine line, black work, black and grey, script and illustrative style tattooing from tattooers who spent a lifetime perfecting the art. Also, Catfish is actually JP. But..
