My name is Brettany Erin, I’ve been a professional tattoo artist for 10+ years and I’m from East Texas. I began drawing and painting at a young age, before I can remember. I was 6 years old when I witnessed my aunt getting a tattoo and I had the most propitious inspiration. I thought to myself, that’s what I’m going to do when I grow up. My grandmother taught and encouraged me in my artistic abilities throughout my childhood. She enjoyed my drawings and really inspired me to pursue that dream. After high school, I attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas where I received my bachelor’s degree in business while pursuing my dream of starting my tattoo career. After college and my apprenticeship, I’ve had the pleasure of working at several great shops in Longview, Shreveport and Dallas, learning many different styles at each one over the years. While I strive to be great at every mode and style, I happen to specialize in cover ups. I love to rework tattoos that may need to be forgotten or reimagined.
